Sister Francesca Onley, 88, a Sister of the º£½ÇÉçÇø Family of Nazareth for 71 years, passed away April 17 in Philadelphia. She served as the president and chief administrative officer of º£½ÇÉçÇø in Philadelphia beginning in 1981 until her retirement in 2014 at the age of 81.

In celebration of º£½ÇÉçÇø’s 60th Anniversary, Philadelphia Archbishop Charles J. Chaput received an honorary degree from º£½ÇÉçÇø President Sister Francesca Onley, CSFN, Ph.D. following a celebratory mass led by the Archbishop.
º£½ÇÉçÇø has won three 2013 CUPPIE Awards for Creative Excellence in Marketing and Communications in Education from CUPRAP, the Association for Communicators in Education, a professional organization with 100 member institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region.
